Spread the word if you like it! 😉

Tyra Banks – Then

Tyra Banks was born in Inglewood, California, in 1973 – and started her career as a model at the age of 15 in 1988. She was the first woman of African American descent to be featured on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and by 2000 she was one of the world’s highest-earning models.

In addition to her modeling work, Banks also has a very prolific career as an actress. She started acting on television in 1993, on the hit sitcom starring Will Smith, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and in 1995 made her film debut in Higher Learning.

In addition to her appearances in successful television shows and films, in 2003 Banks created her own show: America’s Next Top Model, which, in addition to hosting, she executive produced – for over 20 seasons! The show was one of television’s longest running reality series until its cancellation in October 2015 – after which it was revived.

Today, in addition to her modeling, producing and acting work, Banks heads the cosmetics bran Tyra Beauty, as well as teaches personal branding at Stanford University.

Anna Chlumsky – Then

Anna Chlumsky started out as a child actor back in 1989, and is perhaps still best remembered for her role as Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl , in which she acted opposite Macaulay Culkin, Dan Aykroyd and Jamie Lee Curtis – and its sequel, My Girl 2.

She also starred in Trading Mom and in Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, alongside fellow child star, Christina Ricci. Despite her success in Hollywood, Chlumsky decided to go on an acting hiatus between 1999 and 2005 in order to attend the University of Chicago, from which she graduated in 2002 with a BA in International Studies.
