Mandy Moore – Then
Amanda Leigh Moore, better known as Mandy Moore, first rose to fame in 1999 with her hit single – and recording debut – “Candy.”
The studio album in which “Candy” was released, So Real, wasn’t long to follow, and was certified platinum, and got Moore touring with the likes of the Backstreet Boys and N’SYNC.
But Moore’s true success would come in 2001, when she would play opposite Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries.
Mandy Moore – Now
Moore would go on to release six more albums, and to act in multiple films and television shows, including Scrubs, Entourage, How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy and in the leading role in Disney’s animated Tangled as Rapunzel- a role she would reprize in both Tangled Ever After, Ralph Breaks the Internetand Tangled: The Series.
In 2016, Moore started playing the lead role of Rebecca Pearson on NBC’s dramedy This Is Us, and continues to act today.
Denise Richards – Then
Denise Richards started out acting in shows like Saved by the Bell, Melrose Place and Seinfeld before she made her film debut in the cult Paul Verhoeven science fiction satire, Starship Troopers in 1997.
Following Starship Troopers, Richards went on to appear in 1998’s Wild Things,and 1999’s Drop Dead Gorgeous and the 19th James Bond film, The World is Not Enough, where she played “Bond girl” Dr. Christmas Jones.
Denise Richards – Now
In 2001, Denise Richards guest starred in Friends as Ross and Monica Geller’s cousin, Cassie Geller, in the episode “The One with Ross and Monica’s Cousin”, before going on to appear in four episodes of Spin City.
She went on to appear in Two and a Half Men, as well as in the film Love Actually, as well as in the show’s 30 Rock, Dancing With the Stars and Anger Management.
In 2011, Richards published her memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, which went on to become a New York Times Best Seller.
In August 2018, it was announced that Richards will be joining the Bravo reality series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, for its 9th season.
