Spread the word if you like it! 😉

Monica Lewinsky – Then

Monica Samille Lewinsky was fairly anonymous for most of her adolescent life. Born in San Francisco in 1973, she grew up in Southern California and attended Santa Monica College, and later the Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1995.

In 1998, recorded phone conversations between Lewinsky and a colleague surfaced, revealing that during her time as an intern in the office of the White House Chief of Staff, Leon Panetta, she had a series of sexual encounters with Bill Clinton, then the President of the United States.

Monica Lewinsky – Now

The Lewinsky-Clinton scandal made waves throughout the United States and the world, and seriously damaged Bill Clinton’s popularity and standing with the American public.

Lewinsky herself was quite traumatized by the whole ordeal, and focused on surviving the intense media attention.

In 2014, Lewinsky started making public appearances, starting with the National Geographic Channel three-part television special, The 90s: The Last Great Decade, in which she gave an in-depth interview. Following her re-emergence, she has since become an activist against cyberbullying, calling herself “Patient Zero” of the phenomenon.

Gisele Bündchen – Then

Gisele Bündchen, better known by her mononym Gisele, is one of the highest paid models in the world today.

She started her career in the late 1990s, as part of the first wave of Brazilian models to find international success, and in 1999 was credited with ending the “heroin chic” era of modeling.

She got her big break in 1997, when she was chosen for her ability to walk in extremely high heels on a slippery runway for Alexander McQueen’s spring 1998 “rain” ready to wear show.

Gisele Bündchen – Now

In 2000, Gisele became a Victoria’s Secret Angel, and has since led numerous successful modeling campaigns for top fashion houses like Versace, Chanel and Givenchy.

As of 2007, she was the 16th richest woman in the entertainment industry, and in 2012 she placed first on the Forbes top-earning models list.

In 2014, Forbes listed her as the 89th most powerful woman in the world.
