Julia Stiles – Then

Julia O’Hara Stiles’ screen debut was on PBS’ educational children’s television show, Ghost Writer, where she played Erica Dansby, a young hacker terrorizing her school in a memorable, 6-episode-long guest role.

Her first film appearance was on 1996’s I Love You, I Love You Not, followed by a leading role in 1998’s Wicked, a thriller for which she won the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival Award for Best Actress.

It wasn’t until she starred opposite Heath Ledger in 1999’s cult hit, 10 Things I Hate About You, however, that she truly became a well-known celebrity.


Julia Stiles – Now

Following her success on 10 Things I Hate About You, Julia Stiles’ career continued to blossom.

She played Nicky Parsons opposite Matt Damon in the Bourne Identity film series, and had a recurring role as Lumen Pierce in the fifth season of Showtime’s Dexter.

Today, Stiles appears as a regular on Hulu’s drama series, Blue, as well as in the main role of Georgina Clios is Riviera.


Marisa Tomei – Then

Marisa Tomei got her start on the Cosby Show spinoff series, A Different World, back in 1987. 

In 1992, she came to international attention after her role in the comedy My Cousin Vinny, for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

She went on to appear in a string of highly successful films, including Oscar, Chaplin, Four Rooms and Welcome to Srajevo, and hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, as well as appeared, as herself, in Seinfeld.


Marisa Tomei – Now

Marisa Tomei’s career has continued to be highly successful, and she has recently appeared in the films Slums of Beverly Hills, Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead, Cyrus, Love Is Strange, The Big Short, where she played Cynthia Baum, and in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil WarSpider-Man: Homecomingand Spider-Man: Far From Home as Aunt May. She has also made television appearances in various shows, including in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, where she appeared as Mrs. O’Conner.
